About Us
Parc Ivoloina is currently operated by the Madagascar Fauna Group under a long-term agreement with the Malagasy government. The Madagascar Fauna Group (MFG) is an international consortium of zoos, botanical gardens, universities, and related institutions
working together to conserve Madagascar's lemurs and other spectacular wildlife.
From teaching supplemental school lessons to children in our Environmental Education Center to carrying out research in the nearby
Réserve Naturelle Intégrale de Betampona, our projects encompass the full spectrum of conservation.

Founded in 1988 at the request of the Malagasy government, the MFG is a non-governmental organization working in partnership with the Ministry of Water, Forests, and the Environment. The MFG also collaborates with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, and the Chef de Region.
The MFG provides technical help and leadership through two on-site professionals. We also provide funding for our staff and staff training, veterinary equipment, environmental education, animal care and feeding, and capital improvements.
Through its partnership with the Malagasy government, Parc Ivoloina's objective to become a regional center for conservation and education is becoming reality. Ecotourism is one of the key components in our success and your visit contributes greatly to our sucess.
To discover more about the research and conservation side of our programs, visit the MFG's official site at www.savethelemur.org. You can make online donations and purchase Madagascar logo items to further enhance our efforts and download monthly updates of our work.
